Cargo Around the World Palette First Impressions

13:12

I bought this for £12.99 for TK Maxx but have found it for £9 HERE.

I got this a few weeks ago and have been meaning to do a review for you. I have a problem though. I tried this twice and dislike it sooooo much that I don't want to play with it anymore. I don't want to test out all the shades on my eyes and I don't want to fight to swatch them all in nice light and take pictures.

Its just so chalky and difficult to work with. The colours look beautiful in the palette. Really nice pale nudes, perfect for Spring was my initial thought.

Yes it comes with a horrible brush but look at all those easy to wear colours and the beautiful transition shades. I don't think I have ever seen so many transition shades in one palette.

I tried it on and the fall out was unreal. That lovely shade Paris has nothing to it, Amsterdam the beautiful pale gold just falls all over your face,

They just don't do anything other than get everywhere but your eyes. I wanted this to be amazing and its not. Every time I look at it I get frustrated and so I am sorry but I cant give you a full review.

One day I might get bored and decide its a good use of my time but right now its being put at the back of my draw where I never look and so cant see it.

Even my Mum who likes to steal most of my makeup rejects (she thinks throwing them in the bin is a waste) doesn't want this. What does that tell you?

I haven't tried any other Cargo stuff and now I'm not sure I want to. Have you?

What are your thoughts?

Love

Kay
