Beauty Chat: Boots App

Do you have a Boots advantage card? If you do you need to make sure you have the app downloaded on your phone. 

I popped into Boots the other day and I got some amazing deals just by using the app. Do you remember the old touch screen advantage card machines in Boots stores that you used to be able to check your points in and sometimes get extra offers? If you hadn't noticed they have been gone for awhile but you can still get all those offers all you need is the app.   

On there are offers available for everyone, with discounts and extra advantage card points. The best bit though is offers for me, this is where they give you offers especially for you based on your purchase history. Because it's my birthday this month I've got double points all month, but they wouldn't have been applied if if didn't accept the offer. 

There are always deals and points boosts on the app that you need to download to your advantage card. This week I got an offer for an extra 150 points with any purchase from the Boots essentials range. Well I use this range all the time, I purchase the essential makeup wipes. 

 

These cost £1 and I got my usual 4 points for them but then a further 150 points. This means for me £1 purchase I got 154 points which equates to £1.54 to spend in store. But because it's my birthday month those points were doubled so I actually got £3.08 for a £1 spend. If that's not a deal I don't know what is.
