Spiral Plastic Hair Tie

I have seen these plastic bobbles for a while but have always thought they would not be something I would enjoy. 

The claims were hard to ignore though, especially when you have a curly haired daughter whose hair regularly eats normal bobbles. 

These beauties are meant to be kinder to your hair, because the tension is spread over multiple places it's meant to cause less breakage and also give you fewer headaches. They are also meant to be more hygienic as they are silicon and easy to wash. 

In reality they took a while to get used to them but now I love them. 

I love that I can wear them to bed without feeling uncomfortable. That even with a migraine I can tolerate these in my hair.

I love that then keep my curly haired child's hair tamed but don't pull chunks out when they are removed at the end of the day. 

What I don't like is that they don't feel as secure in my hair and I sometimes I have to take it down and put it back up. 

To warn you they also stretch and you have to rest them for a few days to go back to normal size. 

Other than that I am a life long convert.
