Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer Review

If you have more mature skin something I don't think you can live without is primer. It smooths your skin, helping minimise the look of texture, helps with the longevity of your makeup and generally helps your foundation blend better.

There are hundreds of primers out there on the market all doing different things, promising to fix whatever problem you have. I like lots of different primers but one that I enjoy that doesn't break the bank is the Rimmel Fix and Perfect.

This costs about £7 and is widely available and regularly on offer. It has lots of promises and I'm not sure that it meets all of them but it is one of my go to products.

I have dry skin and this is a very silicone textured primer which I absolutely love. When it says it smoothes the skin it's not lying. I don't suffer from large pores though so I can't tell you how it works with that. When I wear it though my fine lines are less visible, my foundation blends better and seems to smooth across any dry patches.

I'm not sure how the primer can both matify and brighten and I can't say I have noticed it do either. Neither do I know if it really protects my skin. I can't say.

What I can tell you is I ran out of this a few months ago and have been using other primers. When I used this again I noticed I had a really great makeup day. I find when I wear this my makeup days are always good. My skin looks beautiful and I don't have any blending issues. What more can I ask for.

Have you tried this? What's your favourite primer?

Love

Kay
