Benefit They're Real Big Sexy Eye Kit
I was browsing the Benefit website when I came across this in their what's new section. It's two eye shadow colours that you apply at the same time with a sponge like applicator. It's meant to save you time so you don't have to blend two normal shadows.
The reviews from people that have ordered this product on the Benefit website are all really positive and say this was easy to use and gave good results.
I can't help feeling it's really gimmicky. It doesn't appeal to me at all. The problem for me with this is that I don't see how you can get a nice multi dimensional look that's well blending with the product. I like the colour combos but if I placed the darker colours in my crease without another transition shade it's going to look awful, and I'm not that pale.
I may be proven wrong and this may be the next big thing that we all start to do but I doubt it. It feels a lot like trying to line your eyes with your eyelash curler. Something that some people seem to be able to do brilliantly on YouTube but when you try it a hot mess.
It's also £28.50 for 6 virtually identical eye shadows!!!
Am I wrong? What do you think about this product?
Love
Kay
