W7 Glowcomotion Highlighter Review

08:18
W7 are a really affordable UK based cosmetics company, I have quite a few things from them and virtually everything I have tried I have liked. I saw this highlighter on a random YouTube channel that I had never watched before or since but was inspired to go away and get this.

This is a really large pan of highlighter and cost well under £5 so I would say it was an absolute bargain. I love the subtle gold colour, it does look beautiful on the skin. I am fair to medium MAC NC20, Nars Deuville, Estee Lauder Dessert Sand. Just to give you an idea of my tone.

As you can see from the swatch this highlighter is very pigmented, though I find with a light hand it can look subtle too, its all about the way you apply it.

For me, someone who isn't into that intense highlight, I use this on a fluffy domed blush brush and use it sparingly on my check bones. I find this gives me a subtle glow that lasts all day, but it doesn't look like that unblended artificial stripe that seems popular at the moment.

If you are looking for something more intense I would suggest using a smaller brush and gradually building it up, as this highlight is so intense that it could easily become too much far quicker than you realise. A word of caution too, when I used this over a cream blush for the first time I didn't realise how the highlighter would react to the cream product, it absolutely intensified the highlighter so just use with due respect and caution.

The powder itself is very smooth and seems finely milled, to be honest it feels much more expensive than it is. There are no chunks of glitter in this its just a very smooth shimmery highlight.

The packaging is sturdy, and it comes with a big mirror for those of you that like that.

I really like this highlighter and in fact it is my go to one, I have pretty much been using it every day since a got it about 2 months ago. Because it is so intense and I like a subtle glow I have barley made a dent in it and cant imagine 'needing' to buy another highlighter for a long time.

You can get it HERE right now its £2.75 with free delivery. Bargain!!

Do you like this highlight? Whats your favourite budge highlighter?

Love

Kay
