Jeanne En Provence Eau De Parfum Verveine Cedrat Review

12:14

You might remember I got this as perfume as part of my birthday haul a while ago, I picked it up for just £4,99 in TK Maxx where I have seen it numerous times but you can get it HERE for £7.90.

I think this is a really pretty bottle that doesn't look cheap on my vanity next to the rest of my perfumes.

It says that it is the scent of lemons and verbena. Now I cant say that I can identify the scent of verbena so may not be the best judge but the main thing I can smell is lemons.

Personally I adore lemons, and a citrus scent is one of my absolute favourites. I love to wear Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue and wore Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean when I got married so this type of scent is right up my street.

I like this, it smells summery and has a strong scent that lasts well throughout the day. I do feel the perfume is very one note and lacks depth or subtlety. When you are paying £5 though I don't think I would have expected much more. I have been really pleasantly surprised by this scent. I wear this regularly as a cheap day perfume.

What I will say is I haven't got any compliments for this scent and my husband actively dislikes it.

I think you really have to love a citrus lemony smell to like this perfume, I do so it works for me.

I am wary of buying random perfume at TK Maxx but for me this was a win.

Have you bought any perfume you haven't smelt before?

Love

Kay
