Beauty Chat: Mascara
Just a quick one today guys I have a question for you.
Do you buy full size mascaras?
I know lots of people who swear by drug store mascara but I am yet to find one that really does it for me. I think mascara is such a personal thing and how it performs changes for everyone.
Because I am yet to find my drugstore mascara I always end up with high end which in general seems to perform best for me. I am particularly fond of MAC mascara.
One of the things that drives me absolutely up the wall is they sell these huge tubes of mascara that there is no way you can use before they go dry, never mind by the end of three months which is when you are meant to bin them. So I end up shelling out £20 on something I know at least half of is going to go to waste.
When I bought some stuff from MAC a while ago they had a free shipping deal if you spent over a certain amount. To get me there I spotted my favourite mascara in a travel size for £10ish. Now its less than half the size and about half the price so I thought it would be handy.
Its brilliant. I never use it all before it goes crusty (after about 5 months) and it means I am saving money as that's when the full sized one goes bad too.
Do you think travel sized products are worth it? How long do you keep your mascara for?
Love
