Khaki and Gold/ CopperEyeshadow

As I always say I don't really follow trends, if I like something I like it and if I don't like it well I don't wear it. That said I do get inspired by trends and at the moment I am loving the prevalence of Khaki all over the place. 

I think a great way of getting this in colour into your makeup is by utilising it on the eyes. Even better if you can do a super easy breezy look. 

That's just what I did today combing these two beautiful colours. 

The khaki colour is a stunning cream eyeshadow from Boujouis that has a super gorgeous gold slant to it.  

You can't see but it's the shade 7002 and it's no longer available but you could use something one of the maybelline cream shadows or you can still get this on eBay. 

I blended this on to my lid and in my crease just using my fingers and really made sure to pack on the colour in the outer corner. 

Then I used this loose shadow from Bellapierre 

 

This is a beautiful warm gold / copper shade that I absolutely love and it's called Earth. 

I sometimes find I don't know what to do with loose eyeshadow but all I did today was dip in my finger and pat it on the middle of my lid and inside corner. 

I blended it all together with my fingers and so it was crazy quick and really rather easy. I also didn't get much fall out as the loose shadow went down exactly where I placed it with my finger and stuck to the cream shadow. 

I might have to try this method more often.
