Rodial Stemcell Super-food Glam Balm Review

I got this a while back as a freebie in a magazine and it took me a while to use it because I just didn't know where to start with it. The website has like a 100 uses for the balm but it was all just a bit overwhelming at first. I thought I would share with you how I use the balm.

This is a very greasy balm and it does separate very quickly, if you get some don't worry that its gone bad, I have had two tubes of this and both were like that from the start. You need to give the bottle a good shake before trying to get any product out and you should be fine.

The first thing that I use this balm for is during the winter when I have a cold, I normally end up with ridiculously dry areas around my nose and my mouth that I just cant shift. This is because I have such dry skin and the constant rubbing when blowing my nose just removes all the natural oils. When I get in this state I put a small amount of the Glam Balm on the area at night before bed, it acts as a barrier but also adds tons of moisture and goodness into the area. When I wake up my skin no longer feels tight or sore, its not a miracle worker and there is sometimes still a bit of dryness but it works so much better than anything else I have ever used and it doesn't upset my very sensitive skin.

My other use for this product is as an overnight eye mask. My under eye area is very very dry and causes me many problems, using concealer is one and also premature wrinkles is another. I use an eye cream every morning and night and though it makes the area more hydrated it pretty much always feels dry and there isn't much I seem to be able to do about it. This balm makes a big difference. I put it all around my eye area, being careful not to get it in my eyes and I leave it on over night. It does feel very greasy but when I wake up the product has all been absorbed into my skin and my eye area looks really hydrated and feels very soft. This product is too heavy to use like this everyday but it is a nice treat for the eye area once a week or so.

I also have to add that this smells amazing, definitely floral and it reminds me of the heady smell of roses.

Its expensive but I will say that it lasts ages, it also regularly comes as a freebie with some of the ladies magazines like RED. You can buy it HERE for £17.50.

Have you tried this? What do you use it for?

Love

Kay
