Sleek Highlighting Palette - Precious Metals Review

Can anyone tell me why I bought this absolute piece of rubbish?

It was because Boots was about to close, Sleek had buy 1 get one 1/2 price and I already had my one and needed a second option and the packaging looked pretty.

I wish I had saved my money.

I really like Sleek in general, I think they have a great range of products at really affordable prices. At first this palette which comes with 3 cream shades and a powder looks interesting. I love a cream highlight, heck I love cream products full stop, and that powder looked like an unusual shade.

They are all just awful though. I swatched them and was disappointed but was determined to give them a go as swatches can be very misleading.

The cream shades were just so glittery on the skin, there was no shimmer, no glow just glitter. My Husband who is the most oblivious man in the world got into the car with me the day I tried out Royal Gold and asked me if I had meant to rub glitter all over my cheeks.

The powder shade is better, it isn't too glittery but nor does it attract the light in any way shape or form. I think I might try to use this shade on my eyes but I am not holding out much hope.

This product looks really tempting, the packaging is lovely, there is a nice mirror and in the pan the shades look interesting. It just hasn't done anything for me.

Save your money ladies.

Have you tried this? Tell me if you love it as I would like to know if this is a product anyone has made work.

Love

Kay
