NYX Butter Lipsticks Review

As you may recall I bought this trio of NYX Butter Lipsticks from TK Maxx on Bank Holiday Monday and I have been trying them out all week.

Lets start with the colours:

This one is Neon Lights and is a bright coral colour, I have found this really flattering and is my favourite. Its bright, which I like, I find a bright lipstick really lifts my makeup. 

Easy Livin is my least favourite colour on me. There is nothing wrong with it, its a really pretty pale pinky peach but it is just too light for me. I think my sister who is paler than I is will love this colour.

This last one is Beach BBQ and is a really vibrant pink with a bit of a purple slant to it. I really like this one, again its very bright, but it isn't so bright as to make it difficult to wear.

Wear Time:

This doesn't claim be be a long lasting lipstick, its meant to be a moisturising formula. It does need topping up every few hours but it feels really comfortable on the lips and it wears nicely. 

Packaging:

This sounds silly but I love the shape of this lipstick it has a kind of dip in it that really helps it fit beautifully as you glide it across the lips. 

I find the actual case though moves around easily and its very easy to smoosh the lipstick into the lid, which really annoys me.

Over all I like this formula, the colours are nice and its a good price. 

I would say if you like a moisturising lipstick and you enjoy the colours in this line then go for it you wont be disappointed. 

If you want something long wearing then this is not the product for you. Try one of NYX long wearing lip products but this one wont float your boat.
