A Year Of Loss

Yesterday afternoon I had some awful news. My husbands Grandmother passed away.

His Grandmother was in her 90's and has had a good life, one filled with family and love but also one with pain and loss too. I take comfort in the fact that she held a strong faith she would be reunited with her husband who had passed away over 50 years ago.

My little family have always been very close to his Grandma, visiting every Saturday to spend a few hours with her. My little Princess Peach is devastated, I have never seen her so sad, she adored her Grandma.

This has come on the back of the death of my Granny last summer and somehow this pain has ripped open the wounds the had only just formed after her death.

I tell you this only as it will affect my blog over the days and weeks that will follow but intend to still try and post every day. I hope this will be my solace and escape.
