Beauty Chat: Too Much Makeup

I think I'm getting to the stage where I have too much makeup. Not in the sense that I don't want more, there are always things catching my eye, but in the way that I have so much I am overwhelmed. 

It didn't used to be hard to decide what to wear on my face as I only had a small amount of makeup. When you don't have a lot of choice deciding what to wear is relatively easy. 

I counted today and I have 26 eyeshadow palettes. I repeat 26!!!!

If each has approximately 12 pans I have 312 shades to choose from when I am doing my makeup in the morning and that doesn't include singles or the small duos or quads. 

I also have around 70 lipsticks but every morning I rummage through my draw and complain I don't have the colour I want. With 70 lipsticks how can I possibly not own the colour. 

I keep watching all these declutter videos on YouTube and think wouldn't my life be so much easier with a smaller collection. 

I wonder how far I could cut down. But then I remember that if there is space in my draws I will only want to fill it. There are many things I don't buy as I don't have the space. Start culling the collection and I bet you any money I will just replace it with more. 

Also I don't think I could get rid of stuff knowing how much it cost.
